Story:
Art has always been in my life. My mother does craft workshops for children and my father is a photographer. Therefore, I grew up with art all around me. Expecting me to do something creative in the future, my parents put me through art school. But after a while, art faded far away into the background because I did it so much. It was second nature to me and I wanted to diverge away from it. So, I delved into marketing and participated in a lot of research work but I missed the freedom and creativity that art gave me. Deciding to bring some of my creativity back, I do small side paintings once in a while and it’s always been an outlet for me to relax.
I would say that my strength is being able to see the bigger picture, which is why I got into marketing. I can sense the market and what people want, which gave me an advantage for predicting certain outcomes. At the same time, my childhood and family background provided me with strength in the area of creativity in the sense that I have an eye for beauty and colours that work well together.
What I can do for you:
Title:
THOUGHTFUL ARTIST
Though I am still working in marketing, I do murals on the side. I love the feeling of having to climb up and down ladders, always having to pull back to see how it looks overall is such a satisfying experience for me. A piece of work that I produce has hours and hours of thought put into it, when it comes to shapes, colours, compositions and style. I always step back to move forward. Furthermore, now through Flinter, I’m getting more and more opportunities to paint murals as well as explore my creative side hustle
